Independent Security Engineering

Engineering Security Where It Counts

Enterprise cybersecurity is too often reduced to sales transactions and presentations. Organisations purchase premium Microsoft licences under the expectation that subscribing to a security suite automatically provides protection. In practice, the opposite usually happens: powerful capabilities remain inactive, default configurations leave identity and device gaps open, and administrative teams struggle to translate regulatory requirements into working technical policies.

PolicySecOps was founded to resolve this specific challenge.

We are an independent security engineering and technical advisory practice. We specialize in configuring, hardening, and documenting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments. Our sole focus is making the security subscriptions you already own work as designed, aligning your technical configurations with the standards demanded by national regulators and international frameworks.

What We Stand For

Our practice is defined as much by what we choose not to do as by the engineering work we deliver every day.

01

We do not sell licences.

We are engineers and technical advisors, not software brokers or licensing resellers. We do not sell Microsoft licences, cloud subscriptions, or third-party security software. This independence ensures our recommendations remain objective.

If your existing subscriptions can achieve your regulatory goals, we configure what you have. If an outcome requires an additional capability, we tell you plainly so you can procure it through your existing commercial arrangements. We have no sales quotas and no incentive to upsell.

02

We do not make false compliance promises.

Meeting a regulatory standard like NCA ECC, NCA DCC, Saudi PDPL, or ISO/IEC 27001 requires operational governance, executive oversight, human resources screening, physical security, and legal counsel. No software platform and no consulting firm can make an organisation compliant on its own.

We are always direct about boundaries: we engineer and document the technical controls inside your Microsoft environment, and we tell you clearly which operational and legal responsibilities remain with your internal team.

03

We do not leave without comprehensive documentation.

A security policy that is not documented cannot be audited, maintained, or defended. We never deliver a project through hidden configurations or undocumented changes.

Every engagement concludes with detailed as-built technical workbooks, policy registers, and operational runbooks, ensuring your internal team understands exactly how each configuration functions and can defend it during regulatory scrutiny.

Ethics and Least-Privilege Tenant Access

We apply the same rigorous security principles to our own client engagements that we engineer into client environments:

01

Strict Least Privilege

We never request or accept permanent Global Administrator rights. All administrative access granted to PolicySecOps is role-scoped, restricted strictly to the services required for the active phase of work.

02

Time-Bound Credentials

Administrative permissions are granted through time-limited elevation mechanisms (such as Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management) and revoked immediately upon milestone completion.

03

Client Audit Visibility

All engineering actions, policy creations, and configuration changes are executed under your tenant's unified audit logging, ensuring your internal security team retains full oversight of our activities.

04

Formal Access Revocation

At the completion of every project, we confirm and document the complete removal of our administrative accounts and delegations with written sign-off.
