Methodology & Engagement Models

Security engineering succeeds when it is methodical, transparent, and grounded in operational reality.

We do not arrive with rigid templates or assumptions about your workflow. Instead, we follow a disciplined delivery structure that prioritises business continuity, eliminates guesswork, and leaves your team with complete control and documentation.

Licence Dependency Notice

What we can switch on depends on the Microsoft licences you already have. The assessment shows you exactly what is possible today and what would need an extra licence. We don't sell licences, so we have nothing to push.

The Six-Step Engineering Process

Every project follows a six-phase delivery lifecycle designed to ensure smooth implementation without interrupting daily operations.

01 Initial Phase

Assess

We begin by conducting a comprehensive technical review of your current Microsoft 365 tenant and Azure subscriptions. We examine your active licence entitlements, hybrid or cloud identity architecture, endpoint management status, data repositories, and existing security configurations.

What You Get:

A clear technical gap report detailing your baseline security posture, identified risks, and a mapping against your target regulatory frameworks.

02 Architecture

Plan

We translate assessment findings into an actionable implementation blueprint. This document defines the exact policies to be built, prerequisite technical dependencies, naming conventions, role assignments, and a phased rollout schedule designed around your operational calendar.

What You Get:

An agreed implementation blueprint and milestone schedule signed off by your technical leadership.

03 Configuration

Build

We construct the technical configurations directly inside your Microsoft tenant. Policies are initially deployed in audit, report-only, or staging modes so that telemetry can be gathered without altering the user experience or blocking business traffic.

What You Get:

Configured identity rules, device management baselines, data protection labels, and threat detection mechanisms staged and ready for validation.

04 Validation

Fine-Tune

Security rules must be validated against real-world working patterns before broad enforcement. We introduce configurations to a designated pilot group of users across different departments. We evaluate feedback, refine policy thresholds, eliminate false positives, and ensure legitimate business workflows proceed without friction.

What You Get:

Validated, tested security policies proven to work smoothly within your daily operating environment.

05 Knowledge Transfer

Document and Hand Over

A security configuration is only as good as the team running it. Once policies are fully enforced across your tenant, we produce comprehensive, as-built technical documentation. We then conduct an intensive walk-through session with your internal IT and security operations staff.

What You Get:

Complete as-built engineering workbooks, administrative runbooks, technical evidence exports your auditors can review, and an internal team equipped to manage the environment.

06 Assurance

Support

Security is not a static milestone. Following project delivery, we provide post-implementation guidance to assist your team during early operational cycles, verify that configuration drift does not occur, and provide technical support during external regulatory audits.

What You Get:

Responsive technical guidance and audit-preparation assistance during critical operational milestones.

What We Need From You

To ensure project success and maintain delivery velocity, we ask our clients for four foundational commitments:

01

Active Microsoft Subscriptions

Licences must be procured or assigned before implementation begins. Our initial assessment will confirm whether your existing licences support your intended outcomes.

02

Designated Administrative Contact

An internal technical owner with appropriate authority to coordinate access, review architectural decisions, and participate in project checkpoints.

03

A Representative Pilot Group

A cross-section of staff members across departments who participate in early testing, providing feedback to validate policies before enterprise-wide enforcement.

04

Clarity on Compliance Priorities

An understanding of which regulatory standards or internal security baselines take precedence for your organisation (e.g. NCA ECC, NCA DCC, Saudi PDPL, or ISO 27001).

Remote-First Delivery Across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

PolicySecOps operates on a remote-first delivery model. We deliver all engineering, architecture design, and technical advisory services remotely to organisations across Saudi Arabia, the wider Gulf region, and international markets.

Direct Engineering Access

You work directly with experienced security engineers rather than regional account managers or administrative intermediaries.

Operational Efficiency

Projects commence without logistical delays or travel overheads, fitting naturally into your operational working rhythms and regional business hours.

Disciplined Access Controls

All engineering actions are executed under strict least-privilege administrative access, using dedicated, time-boxed credentials managed through your own audit and logging infrastructure.

Plan Your Implementation

Every engagement begins with an initial technical conversation to review your current infrastructure, licensing baseline, and operational timeline.
